I've been saying for a while that the halving is only half as important every time.
it was a big deal when it went from 50 to 25, but going from 3.25 to 1.6 or whatever the hell it is it's just not as relevant
That's because you're not scaling out.
In 4 years #Bitcoin will be worth how much? Anyone know?
Much more than it is today. 1.6 coins might mean MORE than 3.12 coins today.
what I mean is that with respect to how the new coins mind adds to the supply is half as much every time we go through this 4 year cycle
so anticipating that things are going to change a lot just because the reward goes down makes less sense every time because the reward is already pretty small as a percentage of the total supply
