It's not scammy IMO but it is very grifty.

If they're marking up certain sats/UTXOs or whatever, and someone is willing to pay above market price to have them for the clout... well free market economy... there's a sucker born every day.

If they were to sell the sat but ended up giving the buyer BCH, ok then that's a scam. But they are in fact selling what they are peddling so it's not a scam. But it sure is grifty AF.
