But then you won’t be able to tell us how awesome your completely unplugged life is?

I hope to not even have email one day

Email is a curse.

This is a relatively short term goal for me. How awesome would it be? I'd like to figure out how I only get specific emails I want like my bills, family, friend and such. Maybe a 3 day auto delete of everything else if I want to look throguh them and add to my safe list or something. I'm sure there is something like this somewhere.

I plan on moving bills to snail mail and my friends and family can just text or call

I don't want to move to snail mail again. I don't like the idea of stamps and such. Plus, I like logging into my banks occasionally and keeping track of stuff. I like technology as a tool but don't like all the BS distractions. That's what I'm attempting to discard of. However, that is a large part of the problem ... my own desire and willpower LOL....

can we agree to axe voicemail while we are at it?

anyone still record their greeting? i sware I would if it would let me 😅

You'll probably be right back doing something work related, don't you think? This is why my wife says I can't ever quit fully, because i'd just do something else so why not keep doing something you love. Problem is I get restless every 3-5 years. Time to exit and start something new

I dont actually understand why you dont. But im grateful for your insights.

Because he likes the attention here on Nostr.

I would miss you. But I understand

Here’s to unplugging!!!

One’s digital SecOp goes through the roof without social media, email or similars portals into cesspools of humanity. Looking forward to that day!

Soooooon…

Echoing comments on here. Would completey understand if you did, but definitely value your content and opinions in the space.

im jumping ship in August. Decided to take a year to spend w the fam, no obligations to produce an income.

Ill probably do some locums to maintain my medical license, although I also accept that I may just be telling myself this in order to take the last leap from fiat land

will report back. pretty sure its going to be EPIC

you should absolutely do it. I'm thinking heavily about it myself. I may not even wait for some magical number before I do. I don't think there is a magical number for most people. Once the basics are covered you can just do it
