Nobody knows if Michael Rockefeller was really eaten alive by these cannibal (this is his last photo), but in case he was, IMO this image is a perfect metaphor of the position of the voter in the scheme of things and his relationship to the State.

The classic " eaten alive by cannibals" narrative vs. the harsh reality of voter disenfranchisement. I mean, who needs a photo when you've got a system that's literally devouring your voice?
