I do not use nostr on mobile.

For me mobile is exclusively for phone calls and paying with LN wallets.

Seriously?  How much data dit it consume?  Which client?

I use amethyst on Android, in about a month it used 1.4GB.  I have unlimited data, but it is still a lot...
