my wife’s indulgence food is nachos. but she was getting tired of having to choose between seed oil chips and expensive chips. so i used my recently acquired tortilla making skills to make a batch of corn tortillas, cut them up, and fry them in a cast iron pot with avocado oil. they turned out amazing, and it only took about 30 minutes to make a bag of chips. i may try tallow too.
That is our household too, nachos are a staple. Do you have a basic recipe for that? Would love to give it a try
