I quite agree. But I find the culture to be heavily biased toward bitcoin maximalism rather than openmindedness. Personally, I think we can all benefit from truth, facts and co-operation. Some experiments will succeed, and some will fail. We can all grow if we help each other out, rather than exclude people with different views. That's supposed to be what freedom is about.
Agreed. If Nostr is to grow, it has to accommodate everyone in its fold including other coiners. I also do believe we need a smart contract layer on Nostr relays. Not sure how to implement that!
Smart contracts only work on blockchains. But there is a smart contract layer on bitcoin called blockstacks. Personally, I like it. Don't know why it doesn't get more respect from the bitcoin community. Probably something to do with maximalism.
