Sore this device provide a check sum? Seems like you would still need to input your seed somewhere to get the checksum, no?
If you are generating seed word checksum, yes. See #seedsigner for a great offline method, or other options noted on https://modulo.network/guide
You create the private key seed offline with this. Any complex math within bitcoin (e.g. SHA256, RIPEMD-160, ECDSA, checksums, etc.) requires computational power.
