I haven’t brought myself to wear any rings since I fell down a muddy hillside in an ill thought out dog rescue attempt. I chipped my elbow causing my right arm and hand to swell. So they had to cut my ring off my hand in the ER. It was 3 rings entwined making cutting them even more complicated. The dog was absolutely fine.

It was several years ago. Totally fine now. I don’t know that it was brave, more likely stupid to go up a muddy hillside in the dark and pouring rain. I just thought the dog was stuck in the fence at the top of the hill. She was not. She had leapt or climbed over.
