Question, if we implement Nutzaps with Primal, will it replace the existing, built-in wallet. If so, should I move the sats out first?

Newb question, I know.

No. When you use primal i think you can only use primal wallet

negative. I know you can opt out and use an external wallet. Just not sure what becomes of the funds.

You need maybe alby wallet and connect it via nwc

The wallet in Primal is provided by Strike. You'll need to move all your sats out if you're going to use a different wallet.

If you use a different wallet but don't empty your Strike wallet, your sats are safe, you just have to turn on the Primal wallet again to get access to your sats using the same nsec.

Technically, you can use two or more wallets with Primal by turning the Primal wallet on/off depending on which wallet you want to use. I personally wouldn't, because It'd be confusing and easy to stuff up.
