Vending machines for public transport tickets at the Nice Airport are such a scam: they have hidden single tickets that cost 1.7€ and left all expensive options starting at 10+€ for a "round trip".

You have to go to the next station, step down, go to the same-looking vending machine, get your single ticket, and get the next train.

I wonder who's the genious that came with this idea... crazy
