If I understand correctly, using #Bitcoin as collateral for a loan makes the most sense toward the end of a bear market - that way, the Bitcoin has more room to appreciate from the low point. Is that right?

Not with Bitcoin as collateral. I am also extremely cautious about debt; there needs to be a good reason.
