Bitcoin Reserve?

Media is debating if Trump & Congress should authorize a strategic Bitcoin reserve

This would be stealing or printing from the general population to pump your HODL. This is immoral and corrupt, and the exact thing Bitcoin was created to fight against.

Still, not much else they can do at this point. It's part of the game theory

Because they've lost their original digital currency narrative, so therefore, if the price does not keep going up, they have nothing.

The government stealing and printing is immoral, corrupt, and criminal. The crime has already been committed before we even get to what they might use the proceeds for.

Because of it's nature they would eventually need to sell. They either adopt or have their fiat currency compete. Either way we win.

they can sell as they do tax and regulation, and the fed hike, to collapse you and manipulate price

Sell to collapse price means cheaper coin for me to buy up

It might be a bit more nuanced. If the US doesn’t own a decent chuck btc, I wonder if competitors could sink the dollar through using btc as a replacement. If US holds a fair amount of btc that blocks (at least partially) this line of attack.

how'd that work out with gold? BRICS are more interested in printing their own tyranny than bitcoin

you think the chinese with their CBDC are cool with sats?

It worked out pretty well with gold imho. The reason usd is the world reserve currency is the US had the most gold.

The USD started off as the reserve currency because of economic and military domination, which was expressed through the IMF and World Bank foundations. These are economic slavery shops

The USD stayed the reserve currency because they killed those in the Middle East who dared to sell oil in something else. Sadam, Gadafi, paying off Saudis, the list goes on.

Just said this a week ago, but it with what?!
