I am a fan of e-books. I can’t use audiobooks because I lose concentration or fall asleep while listening to them.

P.S. Are audiobooks considered books at all?”

Many people do consider them books.

Hmm, I don't think so.

Then what do you consider them?

We can think of them as a special kind of podcast where the speaker reads a book instead of talking about a particular topic.

Audiobooks are books. I didn't think so until I really got into them, and the brain process is the same as when you're reading so long as you comprehend and understand what you're hearing.

You could also say that audiobooks preceed books as oral knowledge preceded written knowledge. Checkmate book maxis.

This is true, before we could write our histories were passed on orally

Interesting mention🤔

Ha ha :)

They are books. They contain the same information.

Many people do retain much more information from the act of reading, but that's not everyone.

Audio books work quite well for auditory learners and those that can multi-task reasonably well.
