I experienced “The Internet” when it was dial-up & bulletin boards. Folks said, “…the government will ban the Internet because only hackers/criminals use it.” Fast-forward 20+ years, currently 5.13B (64.4%) people of the World are criminals using the Internet. Deja vu #Bitcoin.
Not to mention they were going to ban internet telephone. The big boys lobbied hard for that.
