Might I suggest a multi layered solution that compromises between function and security for #Bitcoin. (Amounts in πŸ’²)

1. 10's of Thousands -> cold storage πŸ₯Ά, viewing only wallet

2. Thousands -> Liquid Multisig 2FA πŸ’§

3. Hundreds -> Custodial Lightning ⚑with a reputable Custodian (WoS, LnTips, Alby) or in a Multisig wallet solution like Muun.

DCA goes into Liquid 2FA (2) then as the stack grows it will either be moved to Cold storage or Lightning with nostr:npub1psm37hke2pmxzdzraqe3cjmqs28dv77da74pdx8mtn5a0vegtlas9q8970 .

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated πŸ‘πŸ»

I haven't dabbled with liquid, and I suppose different folks will have varying comfort levels and can adjust their thresholds accordingly. But yes, a layered system like this with security escalating by stack size seems smart. Convenience is always a security trade-off, so this type of thinking keeps overall risk low while allowing you to transact with ease.

Definitely check out green wallet by Blockstream and Boltz exchange then brother. Amazing tools.

Also, using liquid will really save you on main net fees if/when they are too high to warrant sending smaller amounts.

Yeah, that's what I gathered looking at it. It's definitely an interesting system.

This seems like a decent approach.

When the amounts get into the hundreds of thousands or higher, I would suggest the use of multiple hardware wallets from several manufacturers given the need to protect against any form of centralization.
