I get the use case, and it makes sense, but I haven't decided if it's something I want to add to coracle at all yet.
I support clients in rejecting badges entirely. What I donβt like, although with in their rights and in the nip, is clients acting as gate keepers for approving which badge issuers they will approve.
Depends on the client I guess. But yes, for general purpose social clients that's probably a good rule of thumb.

I think badges in the end will be good to gamify the experience here. Like them or not. Net positive.
Right. We're just early and people are essentially shit posting badges for the most part. They're having fun while stacking badges. Eventually we'll see some that are more reputation based than others and some will have more meaningful memberships. Carry on.
