I could have told you this sans study. Just look at the state of the world and the mental capacity of our youth. I read stuff like this and feel like even our scientists have gotten dumber.

YouTube automatically opens up YouTube Shorts when I open the app, which is obviously an attempt to suck you into the app, and it’s terrible.

If nostr adopts short-form videos, clients would be wise to allow users to disable them in settings. One of the things I love about nostr is how my attention span has grown, and I get to learn interesting things from long-form posts.
