Oops, continued:

People who have respect for people in porn are paradoxically using people correctly (for respect and honor) but using porn wrong.

Sorry, I'm obviously distracted, and keep fat fingering the send button.

My point is misuse of a thing doesn't negate its purpose and essence. You're making the assumption that porn isn't inherently exploitative and then coming up with exceptions to justify your position. But just think of how much money the porn industry makes, and on what type of person. Porn is actively disruptive to the ability for people in general to respect women. Why defend it unless you think the debauchery porn represents is a positive good? And I know many people do believe that, out of some kind of liberalism - porn "frees" us from the repression of established power structures and arbitrary moralities designed to uphold them. The only problem is that that is total crap.

Didn’t read this until now. I think you’re way out of line in my assumptions on porn and you don’t seem like a person that can speak objectively on this subject. Engaging a conversation with you was a mistake.

Have a good day 🌞

Yes, I don't know you, you're right. These discussions always suck online, it's very hard to have a productive conversation. If we're ever in the same room we can pick it up then 🤙
