Zapple pay seems to be a pretty good workaround to the Apple problem. Potentially even long term solution if devs can figure out how to simplify the setup.

How works this Zapple pay ? 🤔

I think under the hood, a 3rd party app just monitors nostr events for reactions of a specific type. For example when you tap 🤙 on Damus, Zapplepay will notice that you did that and send sats to the owner of the note you reacted to on your behalf.

You just need to setup and give permission to zapple pay to spend from your wallet on your behalf.
Maybe Damus can just turn only zaps mode to ⚡️reactions and rely on 3rd party apps to do the actual zapping under the hood.
