Each note you post is seen in the top of global feed by random people for about 60 seconds before it gets buried by newer notes. If your followers are following a lot of npubs, the same thing is happening in their follow feed. My notes get some interaction, definitely more than Twitter. But it's when I reply to other people's notes and start conversations that I get the most engagement.
