We self-host applications. We read the source. We fork the repo. We run a webserver.
The point being that not everyone will self-host everything.

I hear ya. My aim is to try and change that dynamic. We need to make it easy for folks to self-host. This gives us back our data and dramatically slows down big tech and governments monopoly on custodial data.
