How fast is your internet there? Is it reliable?
It varies. But the thing is, speed and even band width is the least of our worries as the regime has filtered and banned so many useful websites, platform and social media that there is nothing left of the free world wide web for us but a husk.
Not to mention the forced "safe search" mode that we can't turn off and we don't know what's its purpose.
Also, the regime has a history of throttling our internet in times of crackdown.
How about VPN/Tor?
This is another long tragic story. The same regime that filters our internet, sells VPN, indirectly of course.
We don't know who to trust to buy VPN from.
We cannot download good VPN, because first we need to connect with a VPN!
We can't buy a good VPN because we are unbanked, don't have an internationally bank account and don't have to monetary system, except through some mediaries and bartering our currency, exchanges are too expensive and most don't accept our currency.
Running a VPN also needs buying servers and such.
I'm not techy but I know the regime has ways to disturb VPNs too.

Tbh, we are waiting for a trigger to overthrow this regime.
