My take on #[0]

Here's another point. Would you enter your bitcoin private key in to a random website? Would you enter your Facebook password in a random website? No. So why do this with your Nostr Private Key.

Fo sho! Def use browser extension 🤙👊🍻

Browser extensions are not fully secure! Just Google it. Even metamask has had issues.

Nothing is "fully secured". But extentions like nos2x and GetAlby are much better solution (for now) then poping nsec into random websites 💯

Better but not 100%. So why risk it. Nostr is just fine with out this. My account is valuable to me and not worth the risk. And considering how butt hurt people are getting about me raising security points, it makes it more suspicious.

I hear you fam, don't risk it then. 🤙👊🍻

My gut told me to stay away from this. At least for now. Thanks for raising the red flag. I think these are good actors here with their hearts in the right place but lowest common denominators are the issue. Opens up way too many possible issues and not worth the risk.

Only the dev of the project and ser sleepy are trying to aggressively push people to use this. Everyone else can easily see the red flags.

Trying to give myself some grace for not thinking before eagerly giving it a try. You raise really awesome points that I’ll use to discern moving forward.

I gave up on getting verified when it wouldn’t let me verify my husband so I’m just contending with being mislabeled😂😂😂😂 Bot it says so bot I must be 🤣🤣🤣

We ask for #[1] Is it safe for Nostr users .. dev #[3]
