One of the daycares had opening hours 2pm till whatever and he showed up at 1pm and went out of his way to blur the opening hours.

Another one had a sign printed on the door saying that the daycare was shut down for failing to meet some standard, it had been shut down for a year already.

The fraud was over Covid money, there was some daycare centres, along with other businesses.

70 people got arrested.

It wasn't some organised Somalian syndicate, it was just individual businesses/con artists creating fake businesses to get Covid payments.

It was totally blown out of proportion at the time and now it's just being regurgitated.
