If I’m fortunate enough to still be breathing, and roaming this earth, my next iPhone will be iPhone 21.

Apple better have full #bitcoin integration into their Wallet app way before then!

No more of this every 2-3 year upgrade cycle BS. This hardware is built to last, and should be tested to the limits.

Anyone out there still running (or know someone who is) a 6+ year old iPhone?

Purchased December 2013, 2.5 years in, went for a battery replacement and Apple replaced the whole until. Retired it in 2017; back up house phone now.

Hmm, thanks for that. Battery replacement 2.5 years in 😬 maybe my thinking about built to last was overly optimistic. At least they replaced it though. Lol well let’s see if I can make it last as long as I’m hoping.
