More generally, itās those who follow the āruleā despite their humanity. I rescued a couple of baby squirrels and called the city. I nursed them overnight with a jury-rigged heat lamp and feed them milk with a syringe. They arrived in a big truck, dressed like SWAT officers, and informed I broke a bylaw by helping them. They were not going to take them. After some convincing, they did, but I am not convinced it was to the squirrelsā good fate.
