Liver can be great. A lot of people say they hate liver and I was one of those people. But I ran across a recipe for Julia Child's Chicken Liver Mousse and decided to try it. I was so glad I did. So good. I started to crave it. I think if those of you who don't like liver tried it, there is a good chance you will change your mind about liver. I have made it with chicken and beef liver and it came out great.

Any chance you have a good cow liver mouse recipe you'd recommend or does this work for that too?

I'm not saying liver is bad and realise the high density of nutrients but as our human senses ate repelled by its smell and taste in its raw and cooked form I wonder if it's due to something toxic. This could be because of the insane amount of vitamin A or iron. Both of which can be dangerous.

Or it could be due to other harmful things that liver has been trying to process that the animal consumed.

Thoughts ?
