My first time using a brûlée torch — success!
I brûléed the top of some leftover corn pound cake and it makes it even better 🤌
But even better than that… port with orange pound cake. I love port so much; how did I not know it went amazing with orange?
Sandeman Founder’s Reserve ruby port, which was my favorite until I discovered Quinta das Carvalhas. I’m sure there are others even better out there, but these are enjoyable enough to have with some pound cake!
