True, but devs could have/could still do a lot more with the pass through. Quest does it in black and white only and with color and better quality it'd be fun play with.
Almost bought the nreal/xreal ones but they seemed like couldn't be that good for the price.
I agree, but I don’t like the avoidance or appropriation of physical reality by calling this augmented or mixed reality.
quest doesn’t call it ar they call it pass through vr.
I’d love to see nreal in irl… I assume the field of vision is not great. At ~200 I might bite anyways.
Magic leap and hololens are much bulkier, hololens 1 fov was too small, haven’t tried 2 or magic leap.
I bet many normies watched that presentation and think they can see through the glass front with the real eyes to see physical reality
