I think the way it’s set up right now is better (even though I’m not a fan of it)
I don’t think merging is the way to do it.
For example zap counts.
Is 0-sat zap a zap or isn’t it a zap?

You are thinking about two concepts. Imagine a new concept called X.
My default X is o sats. Your notification setting for X is 3 sats. I Xed you. You don’t get notified and it doesn’t show up to you if you expand. It still shows for me that I Xed you. Question is how it’s going to show for other people…
