Yup, I've experimented with a variety of different 🍄

I like Lion's Mane and it makes me feel great initially, but the effects don't stick around with continued usage. Laird Hamilton makes a great blend of coffee mixed with it that is exceptional for helping with focus.

I like Chaga and Reshi too, they really seem to help with cardiovascular endurance and I take them occasionally before really hard training sessions.

Psilocybin microdosing has probably been the most transformative, not for productivity, but it has helped my a lot in relationships and being a loving, friendly person, and embracing the present moment more.

Do you grow it for microdosing Sully? I’m incredibly curious about psilocybin after reading Pollan.

No, but I have friends who do and it's really cool (and very challenging).

Pollan is great! I'm a big fan of a lot of his work, but 'How to Change Your Mind' is one of my favorite books. I think that he's done a lot of good destigmatizing psychedelic usage for self growth.

I don't know if it's the right tool for everyone. But my first psilocybin trip was one of the most formative experiences of my life. It completely changed my relationship to food, and was the linchpin moment that a lot of my long term health improvements originally stemmed from.

Oh wow thank you, my first (and only) psilocybin trip was also a very transformative experience. I took a very small dose because I was scared but it made me realise some things about my body (started going to the gym the next day ahhahaha) and I gained some clarity on the people I used to hang out with.. it was an awesome experience fs

I will definitely check out that book, thank you

Oh, I used to take a Reishi powder and I don’t remember it having any effects on me at the time. Also I was pretty young and didn’t train at the time I so maybe it would have a different effect now..

thank you
