What helps #bitcoin transcend risk asset status to something boring like currency?

Trust. Which Bitcoin earns more of every single block. Tick tock is the monetary terminator and after enough blocks hashed it will have destroyed and absorbed every fiat instrument on earth.
Trust is probably the most valuable asset on earth.
Do you think there are risks to the narrative above? What are the known-unknowns regarding bitcoin’s ability to legitimately “absorb every fiat instrument on earth”?

It will take more time and development of layers but the Bitcoin protocol is sufficiently decentralized and secure enough today to maintain and build trust into the future reliably. Scaling (like LN and ecash) needs more work and there is still a lot more innovation and integration to come. It will happen with time and adoption.
