Designed and 3d printed a rack mount bracket for the Intel NUC that my node is running on. I need to modify it slightly as the holes to screw the NUC in place arenโ€™t quite in the right place but pretty happy with it other than that.

That looks slick! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

Iโ€™m planning to share the STL file once Iโ€™ve fixed up the hole alignment and a couple of other minor things. Itโ€™s the first time Iโ€™ve designed something myself rather than just printing other peopleโ€™s designs so has been a good learning experience and overall I think it has worked out well!

Good job ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซ‚โค๏ธ

What type of filament are you planning?

So far Iโ€™ve printed it with PLA and that might be fine in my rack as it is fairly cool but I think PETG or ASA might be a better choice. I havenโ€™t experimented with printing much other than various types of PLA since I got the printer so this project might be a good opportunity to try something different.
