For many years now, every christmas, I subtract same fiat amount from my stack and write it as "parents btc" but keep it in my cold storage. They outperform majority of degen traders haha.They would sell it at highs if they could, but they cant :P Will hold it until they retire and discover government pension is bellow poverty. Then Ill allow them to spend some.

Very cool. My parents are already retired. I have spoken to them about bitcoin a couple times but they aren’t really interested, they don’t even want to own stocks anymore, just stupid bonds that they are gonna get rekt on. I should just take 5k and put it into Bitcoin and hold in cold storage. If they ever need it I will give it to them, if not it will go to my kids.
DCA them in :) There is no strongest argument than showing them how much the could have if they held that instead of bonds.
