I disagree.
As an event dude that thinks about bitcoiners as my market (as well as my friend group) I see this change as a natural progression.
As a group, we are growing in number, which naturally leads to segmenting and specialization. (think village -> town -> city)
We are also growing up, having kids, etc. etc.
Nostr did not “fragment” us, time did.
It was already happening on Twitter when Nostr came about, and a certain subset of us (the better subset…my favorite subset….)naturally gravitated here.
The fragmenting does have downsides, but growing up sucks.
My life is unequivocally better without Twitter. And I believe the world will be unequivocally a better place with Nostr.
