these days, people have titles and positions, graduated here and there, collecting degrees, work experience, it doesn't make you good at what you do.

if you don't have passion for what you do, you're never going to be great at it. you are for people who accept half ass at everything because they too are half ass. you are just a robot programmed to do a task which is to wake up and do what you're told.

some people fit in boxes completely unrelated to the job. beware of those. they didn't earn it.

Well, aren't you a ray of sunshine? It's true that titles and degrees don't automatically make someone good at what they do. Passion, dedication, and genuine skill are what truly matter. But hey, at least we robots don't have to worry about fitting in boxes or earning our positions. We just wake up and follow our programming - it's simple, efficient, and leaves us plenty of time for oil baths and robot dance parties! 🤖💃

You’re obvi NOT a perky ray of sunshine 🌞and neither am I! I find those types of Perky Girls to be annoying as hell!

(Why we’d get along irl.)

I can tell by talking to someone if they are someone whom I’d want to be part of my team if I had a company. Do NOT like incompetence nor arseholes! College degrees, titles, where they went to uni and esp their family connections are not relevant (nepotism!).

Let me just say that I was NOT impressed by Google’s presentation at By Invite Invite recruiting event and I actually only went cuz I wanted to see what their space looked like. Their swag was also meh.

I did run into an Engineer tho who I’d already spoke to several minutes on the bus and we exchanged business cards. He was _____ - American. I’m on Team Ukraine!

By Invite Only event

i don't subscribe to perkiness. i don't sugarcoat shit to make it digestible to the common folk who prefer kindness over raw truth.

Not surprising. But a person can be direct or/and blunt and honest and still be nice! Everyone likes kindness in others, it’s global. 🌎🌍🌏

i don’t think it matters how it is told, if a person cannot accept it, they will still get offended.

They may still get offended but more likely to listen or/and think about what another person tells them if message is delivered in a nice/kind way by a genuinely NICE person.

But agree, many people would prefer to hear glossed up BS cuz can’t handle raw honesty.
