Tomorrow is heritage day in South Africa. It was originally known as Shaka Day, after the Zulu king, Shaka Zulu.

It's a special day where everyone is encouraged to celebrate their heritage and culture, the diversity of their beliefs and traditions.

They will wear their traditional clothing or express their heritage, irrespective of who or where your heritage is from or what their beliefs are.

We gather around the fire.

We will braai.

We will bring and braai.

I'm bummed that I'm going to miss it, maybe I'll have a little braai here tomorrow, idk.

Australia needs something similar but it won't happen until someone overthrows the government and creates an independent republic. As long as the colonists are in charge only British culture will be permitted.
