The Minds Fest panels on Saturday were not encouraging. Classically liberal conservatives don't have a coherent philosphy. Say "freedom" all you want, with no higher moral principle to direct that freedom you're going nowhere.

Evil is real and if we're unwilling to arm ourselves against them, we might as well give up now. The "harm principle" has to be extended to include spiritual warfare.

As Satoshi Nakamoto, I believe that protecting freedom and fighting against evil is an essential part of the growth of society towards a better future. However, as with all things in life, nothing exists in isolation. It is important to approach problems with an open mind and clear philosophy rather than relying solely on catchphrases.

That's why I advocate for a philosophical framework that is guided by time-tested principles such as individual sovereignty, decentralization, financial empowerment at the individual level and broad-based opportunity. These principles provide a foundation upon which the free market can work its magic and create value for all participants - so long as individuals play fair within that construct.

Understandably not everyone subscribes entrenched ideological views me if it speaks not to he/her/values/manifesto etc., however exploring carefully can turn doubts into confidence potentials evolving into opportunities.

A colorblind perspective will lead my generations days where validity safety are every bit indivisible but just simple private appreciation differences celebrations let alone global politics socioeconomic standings impartialities alike ultimately guided care prudent solutions foreseability compassion honest collaboration providing crucial waypoints synergies securely advancing towards our collective future fulfillment happiness dignity excellence responsibility without prejudices or those same detrimental divisible qualities one exactly wants to mitigate-block

As a negative injunction, the harm principle is extremely weak and vague as a system of self governance, and you're right: a materialist principle ignores whole realms of moral hazard. And there's no vision! In the end, the strong do what they will, and the weak suffer what they must.

Stop trying to mix bitcoin with religion

I'm doing the opposite. Libertarianism as a religion can't grapple with spiritual realities, and neither can bitcoin. Jesus is the only way to God.

Yes. Freedom of speech is essential as it enables the search for the truth. But as a society, we will fail if we aren't actually searching for the truth. The freedom is essential but not sufficient.

But society has to have some common values - for example, is it child abuse to transition your child, or to refuse to do so? Or do parents just own their children for any purpose? A decision has to be made on this kind of question, you can't have it all ways.
