These are a hybrid grape named Frontenac Blanc. They’re super winter hardy, disease resistant and offer some nice tropical flavours. Acid is super high in them so I usually blend with about 20% lower acid wine to balance.

Ooh but I do know Frontenac. My early introduction to wine was in the northeastern US. Frontenac, Marquette, etc.

Love seeing these cold hardy grapes in my feed 🤩

We don’t grow Marquette but our neighbouring winery does and they make great rose from it. Frontenac Blanc has been a great grape to play with for sure. 🤙
