What are you making?
Just a simple podcast downloader and player. Trying to learn how to actually develop an app, definitely harder than I imagined lol. I've already learned a lot though !
For iOS or something else?
lmao I keep missing notis on this. Right now it's a self hosted podcast player, mainly for downloading + converting podcasts into opus files. It's now featuring a javascript media player I'm trying to design as "from the ground up" as possible. Basically I love podgrab, but I wanted to see what it was like to make my own version. Also I wanted to add a lot of features that I have no idea are going to be added into podgrab.

I feel like phone podcast apps are so extra and don't solve the cross-platform playback position problem. There is gpodder sync which tries to solve this, but in terms of the self hosted sphere, the options are extremely small to nonexistent. I don't see why using a web page all devices can access is NOT the answer here.
