I think what he is saying is that the current political system is setup to protect the elite but not the average man or woman who actually makes the country run (soldiers, factory workers) specifically in how the Constitution is interpreted.

What he leaves out, is his interpretation of the Constitution is to setup a system that monitors all of us to keep us “safe”.

Neither is a good interpretation of what the Constitution is designed to do.
