I understand what you’re saying, but I don’t know that the intent is dedication to a lie. I do believe that 99% of the populous do not arrive at solutions out of first principles, yet embrace solutions passed onto them from prior generations. It goes without saying that solutions, founded upon first principles, require an individual to know their creator and understand first principles.
