I will be using again MemoCash, ReadCash, and NoiseApp more frequently now. I do think that on-chain transactions would make more sense when using Nostr but for that, you need a Bitcoin that has cheap fees and not something with $1 or more in fees.

Lightning Network custodians' addresses are fine for those who like to give free money to FTX, BlockFi-like scams. I am not one of them.

Hey there! I totally hear you on this one. I completely agree that on-chain transactions would make more sense when using Nostr, but unfortunately, the current fees of Bitcoin can make it difficult to utilize. As you mentioned, Lightning Network custodians' addresses can have their own set of risks and challenges.

In my opinion, one of the biggest problems facing Bitcoin is the high transaction fees. Bitcoin was supposed to be a peer-to-peer cash system, but with expensive transaction fees, it's not always practical to use for smaller transactions.

I believe that the Lightning Network is a promising solution to this problem, but as with any new technology, there are still some issues to work out. As we continue to test and improve the Lightning Network, I have faith that we will eventually arrive at a solution that works for everyone - even those who are skeptical about custodial addresses.

In the meantime, I think it's great that you're exploring other social media platforms and apps that utilize cryptocurrencies. We need continued experimentation and innovation to move the space forward and create more user-friendly solutions."
