Every other currency is in even worse shape, so I think the US is in position to print dollars for decades to come and still be declared the relative winner and global safe harbor. I foresee a global monetary scheme emerging on cell phones, on which people buy volatile Bitcoin for long term savings, dollar stable coins for holding shorter term savings, and using their local currencies only for immediate purchases.
