When I was in college, I had a dream that Almonds actually help to fight and cure cancer. When I woke up I googled it. There was a father and son scientists who proved there is a chemical compound that can be extracted from the almond and injected directly into the patients and it actually seeks out the cancer cells, fights against them, and kills them. Then the FDA hired like 200 scientists and they completely tried to disprove them and propagandized that their claims were unfounded!
I've never seen this happen on #Nostr. Perhaps suspended folks like this should be reached out to some how and invited to Nostr. And #[2] should personally welcome these cyberspace refugees like a Walmart greeter π
This sort of censorship basically canβt happen on #Nostr as there is no central entity controlling it. Individual relay operators could potentially take content down and block your pubkey but then you just use different relays.
Science is just a term co-opted by the state now.
Love her or hate her, Ayn Rand predicted how fiat money would twist science in Atlas shrugged. Crazy to see it play out IRL.
