Thoughts on homeschooling?
Discussion
its a great knowing what and how your child is developing
Sane. Depends on the school and teachers you hand custody of your children to.
Better than most of the schools.
I think the #nostr provides the technology to connect those who are home schooling together . Maybe some dont want that , but if I was I could see many advantages of being a part of a community that’s learning together
My mate does it. Says pre school kids ask a question every 40 seconds.
Kids at school ask a question four times a day
Best thing that ever happened to me was being homeschooled.
Takes a great deal of effort to give a child a first-class education though. A stay at home parent is pretty much required. Education level of that parent is not as important as the level of effort the parent will invest in making sure the child receives a good education. My parents both brushed up on subjects before I learned them to ensure I succeeded.
Find co-ops and non-profits for socialization and field trip opportunities. I had lots of friends and attended more than my fair share of symphonies and museums, etc.
I'm wanting to do it
