The miracle is not over. Rather, it hides, and you have to look closely to detect its presence. Bitcoin, Tor, nostr, bittorrent, e2ee messaging, VPNs — all flawed tech stacks that nonetheless protect us from full disenchantment.

The miracle is always there, and it lives at the front of technological development. As technology becomes accessible even to retard level peers, the state invariably steps in to protect the idiots (and sometimes, itself) from harm. I would dare say there isn't a single, widely available product without regulation.
