Just found out the vast majority of property taxes (levied as "ad valorem" taxes) are blatantly unlawful in Florida pursuant to FLORIDA CONSTITUTION ARTICLE 7 SECTION 1(a).
The very first paragraph of the article.
"No state ad valorem taxes shall be levied upon real estate or tangible personal property."
And everyone bitches about property tax. How woefully ignorant 99.99% of the population is on their basic rights. crazy.
