Demand half up front.

Do not deliver final product until payment is settled.

He’s only got the low res files at this point. He’s been a friend for awhile now so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, plus he gave me $100 up front to start.

I figured that was good, since I’ve known him for awhile. Lesson learned!

The thing that puzzles me is why he hasn’t asked for the final files - all he has is some 72dpi jpegs. Just zero contact in weeks.

Wow. That's crazy. I guess you did all you could do. I'm sorry to hear that.

Personally, I wouldn't go out of the way for him again. Definitely don't do business with him again.

That’s what’s so frustrating, he’s been my barber for years, he works at a local barber shop and I’ve been going there for a good while now

Any chance he just spaced on it and has something going on in his life? I have one friend like that. Out of sight out of mind type.
